Just another be the bunny reminder for my friends at XJ bikes!!
A couple weeks ago I found some gravel on the road, which wouldn't be so bad if I didn't find with my front tire while leaning into an off ramp at 60 km/h! I wasn't speeding, stunting or goofing around so remember it can happen to anyone, even if your not asking for it!!! Thanks to my armoured jacket I limped away with just a fractured ankle, a little road rash, a bruised ego (among other things) and 2/3 of an 84 gsx 750!! I consider myself to be pretty lucky this time but it's a reminder of how easy it can come undone, and how careful we need to be out there, not just of cages but of the road beneath us.
    Ride safe

    Thanks Shaun, for the reminder!
Sorry to hear about your bike and ankle but you will get to ride again!!
Hope you feel well real soon!
We can all use a reminder at times even after 35 years of riding!

Thanks guys, I just picked up an 88 ninja 1000 to replace it, it needs fork seals and brakes but otherwise looks like a great bike, so by the time my ankle is strong enough to ride the bike should be ready! and the season won't be a total loss.

Glad to hear you didn't get hurt too bad. Thanks for the reminder. It only takes a second for something to happen.
