Does anyone know where I can find a back of seat grab bar for the passenger for my XJ650RJ? All I can find are the maxims and 750s on up.

Will the 750 grab bar work on the 650?

The first link; I believe those are for a maxim, not the seca.

Second link: for a 650 TURBO seca, I don't know if those will fit or not.

Your original grab bar is a chrome handle that goes from the top of the shock mount to a bracket in front of the rear signals. I'll see if I can find a pic of the original setup, mine are missing also.

If you need to look at an original XJ650R this is the site to go to. His Seca looks absolutely brilliant.

I have the original "grab bars." They aren't actually passenger grab bars FYI - they are to assist lifting the bike onto the center stand.

I'm looking for a rear of the seat passenger grab rail/bar similar to the maxim's (won't fit the seca) and the XJ750/900's.

    T'won't.

A few companies, Yamaha included, made a luggage rack for the 650 Seca, back in the day.

It's gonna take some time on eBay to find one, pretty much everything you'll find quickly and easily will be for the Maxims.

Fitz, you don't happen to know where to find a pic of the luggage rack do you? I have a friend that is going to try and fabricate something but we need a reference pic.

When I bought my XJ650RJC, it had a sissy bar from a Maxim on it. It looked OK and the backrest did line up with the end of the Seca seat, however, you could not open the seat (to get to fues for example) without removing some bolts and swinging the sissy bar away from the seat. I did take it off while I was working on the carbs, and never put it back on.
