Yesterday I just got home with a nice hot Pizza for supper, no Cokes in the kitchen fridge so I went downstairs to my "Man Cave" to get one out of the bar fridge.
Got down two steps and got airborn! Missed the last five steps completely, twisted my left ankle so bad that I thought I'd broke it and did a face plant.
    Here's the results:

Hope it's healed up enough so that I can make my sidecar racing debut later this month at Mosport on the 12-13-14th!

Ha! I'm not the only one here with sandal tan lines! Sucks for the ankle tho... I vote for a fire man pole to the "man cave"... It can serve dual purpose!

Yikes!! That totally gave me deja-vu! Funny thing, though... The last time I sprained my ankle the doc told me I woulda been better off breaking it, recovery-timewise. Apparently bones heal faster than tendons and ligaments. Anyway...

Go easy on it and get well soon!

Turned mine years ago (worked a number of years on the River) and DR told me the same thing. It took a long time to heal and it was weak forever, had to be real careful. Hope you heal up quick (in time for debut)...

Did your doc tell you to draw your abc's with your toe while sitting down? Sounds odd... Bit helped me a lot with recovery time.
