Check the clearance at the fender/fork. The 110 will be approx 1/2 inch wider reduceing that clearance by approx 1/4 inch on each side.

I have seen a 130 used with the rear to front conversion mod, but the fender was not able to be used because of clearance problems.

Are you sure its a 110/90-18? Mine are 110/90-19 on the front and 130/90-16 on the rear. Mine is a 1983 Maxim XJ750K is there that much differance from 82 t0 83?

Start off by looking at your bike. What size front is on there now?

If it's the standard 19" front wheel, then I'd go 100/90-19 (rather than a 90/90-19) whereas a 110 may foul the fender.

Mine had a 90/90/19 on it when I got it,but when I looked for a new one,my research indicated it was supposed to have a 100

The owner of the bike shop said his info called for a 90,but he couldn't get anything cheap in that size,so he said it cross referenced to a 3.25",which is what I got.I swear it looks both taller and most definitely wider than the 90 that came off it :?
