Hard anodize exhaust pipes

    Would it be possible to hard anodize exhaust pipes ? I'd like to hard anodize my exhaust pipes red. Ever hear of it being done ? Thanks

    I believe the exhaust pipes are steel. Mine are. There are plenty of colors of VHT paint that may get you the look your going for or atleast close.

    Like Militant Buddhist says, you can't anodize steel and most pipes are steel.

    You could make them blue easily enough...

    now titanium, that you can ano... pardon me while I drool over that Duc in this month's CW

    Yeah for exhaust your options are powder coat or headerpaint. The kind of money I like to spend says header paint.
