I have disengaged neutral start cut off relay and side stand relay I also took apart the start switch and kill switch and cleaned everything up everything has good continuity threw the wires and still get nothing from the start button with the key on??? With the key on the Brake light comes on and one flasher comes on if used with the switch the left one does not even come on if used, I checked all my fuses and they all have full voltage going threw both sides?? So once again I am stumped WTH is going on here. I thought if I disengage those two relays nothing would interfere with the start button engaging the starter relay I can still jump the starter relay with the battery and jumper wires to crank the engine so I now from there everything from there is ok. I'm lost on what to do I've checked all wires connecting to everything and from what I can tell all wires check out ok WTH?? Where to go from here and what to look I have no idea So any help or suggestion would be great because I'm losing ambition on this bike which I have put so much time in effort into.. Thank You

Have you used the factory starting circuit diagnostics I sent you and checked the solenoid itself? If it works when you jump it but isn't responding to the button, the solenoid itself could have a problem as well; the pages I sent you show how to check it.

Both of the 2 Seca's I've worked on had to have their starter solenoids replaced.

    It's a fairly weak point after 30 years :)

So, is this a reincarnation of your previous thread with none of the intermediate detail about the fact that you found the solenoid to be good and the starter switch or its wiring to be bad?

Ok I have done all the checks that bigfitz52 has sent and the first one from the factory diagram and manual he sent me where you disconnect the starter wire from the solenoid terminal and connect the multimeter at 1 ohm but my meter only has 2k which is its lowest ohm setting and connect the multimeter and turn the key on and you should hear a click and the meter should read 0 but it did not register anything off of the terminals and no click. The other test is were you unplug the solenoid wires put the multimeter to the plug and set the multimeter to 1 ohm and it should read 0 . Mine registered .003 at 2k ohm on my multimeter is this ok since the meter is at 2k ohm? Still kind of lost here thanks for all the help
