i plan on installing pod filters and running straight pipes on my bobber project and im having a hard time findng reasonably priced jets to rejet the carbs with, the local dealer ship told me $98 for a "rejet kit"

my question is two fold, can i get the jets for cheaper (and where)

and, what is a "rejet kit" and why is it so dang expensive???

If you know exactly what you are doing, you can drill them yourself.
You buy a drill bit and use the chart that RickCoMatic posted.

You need a 116-118 Main and a 41-42 Pilot as a starting point, and there's a tech item about drilling a small vent in the air horn, and adding some "velocity stack" to your pods. (just the tip of the iceberg)

If you are drilling out your jets, go up 3 sizes on the mains & up one on the pilots. The drill for the pilots is so fine you might need a pin holder & just turn it by hand. Best place for the drill bits is a model shop.
