You can kinda see a bit here... 1/2 left arm sleeve, black white checkers at the wrist, some nautical stars, diamondplate, Ohio with wings, water/waves, and a turntable tonearm/stylus on the shoulder. I have a full back piece and my right forearm has 2 doves with arrows through them and 2 broken wedding bells. also "tsuru" a crane on my head, for good luck.

I'm old enough and have been on my own long enough my parents aren't really an issue. But they actually don't mind it at all. I grew up on a farm and have the stereotypical conservative farm-family. They didn't like me getting tattooed at first (and absolutely refused to be seen with me in public... I didn't have much to do with them for a while), but once they realized I was making a living doing something I really liked and it wasn't going to keep me from getting a job or making a living, they're less concerned. My mom actually shows off my farm-animal sleeve and horse-shoe tattoo to all her friends, haha. They're pretty over it by now. I remember showing up with tattoos on my face and thinking "Hmm... maybe I crossed a line?" and my mom didn't say a word until I was about to leave and simply asked "Did that hurt worse on your face? I like it." haha. They've become pretty open minded over the years.
