strange rattleing noise after fork seals 82 650

    i did my fork seals on my 82 xj650 the other night. was a pain, i would swear they were the same ones from 1982. got everything back togather and now there is a strange rattleing noise from the front area. its not constant. it comes and goes. when it makes noise its only for a few seconds. it seems to have gotten slightly worse. im not sure what to check. nothing is visibly loose or anything. any help would be appreciated.

    figured out what the noise was, which in turn almost killed me. wheel bearing just exploded on me.
