headlight adj

    whats the best way to adjust the headlight on 82 maxim 750. as it sits now while riding with low beam on the street lights are bright but when turn high beam on it seems to shot higher.
    whats the optimal position.

    and i see the little aux light dont help much

    Aim high. Better to be annoyingly bright than not visible enough. We're invisible enough as it is.

    I just wait for a foggy day (happens a lot around here), and use the ground-cloud to adjust my high beam so it's dead level when I'm riding.

    Any higher is a waste and annoys oncoming traffic, and any lower results in low beam being useless.

    i just leave it loose enough to reach up and push or pull while i'am riding
    i thought thats what everyone did
    might be a cable behind the headlight bucket mess'en you up
    i like the aux light but cant reach it while moving :lol:
