    I'm putting the bike up for sale it is a 82 maxim J and has just under 40k miles on it. The bike was a strong running bike before I dismantled everything for inspection or replacement to make this bike a very good everyday rider. After reassembly and replacement of a lot of parts I developed a short some were on the bike and now it will not run. Its a simple short some where and I just cant figure it out and want the bike sold. The front and rear tires are brand new 0 miles. Cosmetically the bike looks ok some paint chipping off the top off the tank but is complete and looks ok. I have upgraded the fuse box to a blade style fuse box. A new relay starter solenoid. The front and rear brakes are new also throttle cable choke cable and clutch cable are all new. So all I'm asking for the bike is $500$ no less This would be a great deal for someone that could fix it and ride it by the weekend. I figured I would give everyone here a chance at it before it goes to craigslist and ebay. Will send pics if serious Thank you.
