    Just a quick Hello, been looking for a second ride for a while, older Yamaha Virago to be truthful. Came across an 1982 750 XJ that a friend had.
    Been in a garage since 1991. Found this site read quite abit all ready.
    Went to look at it and he handed me the title, and keys it yours no cost nip nada.
    All he said was I'll know you'll get it running, and it'll be right.
    When I'm done I hope he is still on my friends list. :lol:
    From what I've read so far I'll get it going.

    I also hope there is no issues we have a 03 Goldwing thats when we both go :?:

    We're from Columbia City, just south, and it is a Maxim. It is winter project and oh yea I understand the cost involved but all the parts are there even the tool kit. Has 9574 miles.
    Bought the book and have been looking it over. Compared to the Wing this is a simple bike :lol:
    Tank is clean
    Story is the dealer rebuilt the carbs in 1990, no speed, in 91 it started acting up again, dealer said they needed rebuilt again. Another $400.00
    So he drained the fuel, and parked it.
