My first XJ (82 750 Maxum) is the same age as my oldest daughter. The 83 (wifes bike) is the same age as my second daughter. Now if I could get a bike made in the year of each of my kids...I'd have 7 bikes with model years paning a 20 year range.

Um...... that would make you......um........14 or 15? I'm horrible at math.

I'm 7 years older than my Maxim.

She has 92,xxx miles. I think she has me beat there.

No, your math is about right. Al is probably the youngest member to wrench on an old bike. Geez, after typing that it sounds kinda, well, sick. 8O
He's a good lad from "over ome" and has not only picked up some good advice but offered possible solutions a couple of times if I remember correctly!
It's good to know that these bikes will be looked after by the next generation. :D

I am 20 years older than my "new" XJ. We are just getting to know each other but it looks like it could be a long relationship!

Yes, I am older than my XJ, by 24 years. And I think I am due for an oil change and a carb sync.

LOL, I made a similar joke here before, something about going to see the man with rubber gloves to get your valve clearances checked!
