    hi everyone, ive just bought a 1982 xj550 seca to ride through the winter and then turn into a bobber next year, but im having difficulty finding a nice aftermarket exhaust to use untill i start work on it. any suggestions?

    Do you still have good headers and collector box or do you need the whole shebang?

    id like to keep the headers and the collector if i can, would really like a straight through slash cut which i can use again on the bobber.

    Yep. Sportster exhaust can be made to fit
    MAC also makes exhaust systems for our bikes. Pricey, but tried and tested for ages on our bikes.
    Or just JCWhitney some exhaust mufflers. Find a pair of slip ons somewhere and make due!

    will the 4 into 2 collecter box from a xj750 maxim fit the down pipes on my 82 550 seca?
