OK So I need a fuse box for my bike, and while searching for it I found a guy with an 82 SECA 750 like mine trying to sell it on CL for $200.

I emailed him, almost jokingly, and said how bout $100?
    He said sure.

Well my buddy picked it up tonight. Brought it to our workshop.
I swung by to see it. First off, here's a few shots of my bike in the shop as it sits needing a fuse box, an oil change, and the carbs cleaned out.

So not bad huh? Paid $400 for her. Drove her home. (slowly, yes Fitz I know about the rear brake, lmao!)

Anyway, she runs decent, definitely needs a carb cleaning and tune because she doesn't idle all that hot, but when you get on it, wooohoo! haha.

So, on to the $100 parts bike. He told me it ran for a few years and idled great, ran flawless.

He rode it for two seasons I believe.
He said something about having to hold some wires to get it to start, not sure what that's all about yet.
He said the starter died - then decided to part it out and ebay it, to use the money for another bike.

Well he never got around to parting it out, he did get to tear some of it down though.
He's already got a honda shadow (BOO) to replace it, and is using my $100 for tires.

SO? You wanna see my parts bike for a hundred bucks?
With the additional freebie of a real original service manual?

    Here she is............ in pieces.........

CLICK HERE FOR MY PHOTOBUCKET OF HER!
(BTW the first bike pic is of an 84 honda shadow we snagged for $100 as well, runs mint, just needs a coolant flush and a thermostat to stop overheating!)

Brand new starter solenoid, almost perfect condition tires and seat, all the parts to put it back together, freshly painted plastics fenders and TANK!

Sorry dude, but I just SCREWED you for $100! lol!

    Nice score.

You never know, man. Some people just see it as taking up space in their garage or storage and just want it gone. Good deal.

Wow, it was already in mostly pieces, he could have made way more just selling certain bits. Nice steal.

That's how I got my Maxim, Andrew. PO bought a new bike and wanted the old one out of his hair, and was willing to do it for cheap! That method is okay by me! :D
