My 82 XJ750 Bobber

first off, i love the bike!!!!! im budget bobbing mine so it doesnt look half as good at the moment.... also, i think you should call her bamf!!!!! google it if you dont know what it means!!! lol, and last.... strictly opinion, and no whatsoever criticism.... but when i look at the bike.... i think it needs some sort of rear fender. you look at all the beautiful curves on there from front to back and they just kind of "stop" even something small to curve it out to the back. great job... and have fun!!!

 

Not sure what model it's from. I just found them on eBay for around $100 posted.

lol..... when i look at this thing... i try to picture it green. reminds me of the old school military indian bikes they ripped around on... (minus the side car)

I think this bike looks great!! Im seriously considering going this route with mine, minus the white walls and forward controls. this is one of my if not my favorite XJ build ive seen on this site and internet in general. It just looks MEAN like it sits. The SR tank sits on it in the perfect position. I want to do the same thing, but use a tach in the the gas tank, with a small digital speedo up near the bar/triple clamp area. Where did you score the

If you do use the 78 SR500 tank, just know that you will have some issues with the petcock. The standard is too long and hits the carbs. I used a 78 Suzuki gs650 tap, turned it around, widened the mounting holes by a mm or 2, made a blanking plate to remove the vacuum setup as it fit nicely. Is a bit awkward to go to reserve but it's ok
