Tire swap 750 and 650

    If I have a maxim 750 can i swap the back tire with my maxim 650. The drum for the breaks seems slightly larger but im wonderiing if i can switch it over or just leave it on the bike and take only the rime and tire..

    Lower 48 in general. Otherwise Central Mitten.
    The 650 uses a smaller brake than the 750. You can use the 650 wheel on the 750, and vice versa as long as you use the correct brake plate as well. In other words. Treat the wheel and brake as a complete assembly.

    So i switched over the Tire rim and entire drum, and now my rear brake wont work. im thinking it just needs to be adjusted ??

    any suggestions are appreciated :) thanks

    Depends on what you mean by "won't work." The linkage could have become displaced as well.
