turn swith sticks

    Also our turn signal switch sticks some so when he is riding he weeves trying to turn off the signals. Question being can we squirt some wd40 in there to free it up?

    i took mine apart (the handle bar block that holds it) and cleaned it up with electrical parts cleaner, then lubed it with dielectric grease. It glides beautifully again and never sticks.

    that is what I recommend.

    Hey, What cancels the turn signal. At different times they both stay on. What gives?

    Signals do not cancel by turning as in a car. Reason: rarely turn the handlebars when riding.

    Signals are cancelled by a mechanism that counts revolutions of the speedometer drive - in other words distance.

    You can cancel signal manually by pushing straight in on the switch.

    If both sides are flashing at the same time you have issues.
