Weird, i know, but i just got done switching out my handle bars and tried starting it up to take it out and now it wont start. i thought i was being careful enough when pulling everything off the bars but i guess not. i opened the head light and tried to make sure everything had a good connection but thats it, to the extent of my knowledge.

    Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks!

also checked the fuses, and also when you push the automatic starter button in it wont make a sound. nothing just like the bike is off.

Are your new handlebars powder coated? The starter switch uses the stock chrome handlebars as a ground. I did the same thing to mine when I put my powdercoated clubman bars on.

Either scrape some paint off where your starter normally will ground or run a new ground to your ground wires in your headlight bezel

New+black usually means powdercoat. Definitely not a good conductor of electricity.

Check to be sure the Clutch Switch wire isn't pinched nor grounded-out near the Headlight.
