    I like it... You've managed to cover off what is typically a simple process and actually capture what most DIYers don't know.

    I'll have to go look. He may not have updated the posts to list them. What I can say is that the expensive model (Len's number HCP14583) is the one used for the writeup; right now I've got the "economy" model here, and Len's number for that one is HCP13065.

    That is more of a set of standards for contractors than it is a how-to. The illustrations of correct and incorrect crimps might be useful. The western-union splice is handy, but I hear that it has been superseded (for NASA purposes) by a simple j-hook splice. Cool reading nontheless.
