Hey! I have a 1985 Yamaha XJ700N Maxim with 34k miles on it. I have a shop day coming up and want to do some front end work and other little odds and ends.

Can someone tell me which of the following to get or point me to a one stop shop website:

    fork bearings
good quality for the lower price progressive springs :)
    front brake pads
    inline fuel filter

I don't need high performance or racing stuff, but want good quality for the money. For example, I don't need serious performance springs, but don't want to go back to the mushy OEM Yamaha springs.

Also, my rear brakes are starting to squeal. What does that mean? Is it easy to open up the rear and change those brakes while I am doing the front? Any recommendations on parts?

    Thanks!

Just about anything will work for a free flowing fuel filter I'm pretty sure. I work for a lawncare company and snatched one from a zero turn spreader/sprayer.
