Factory Parts For 82 XJ650 Maxim

I am in the process of stripping and rebuilding my bike, and will be selling off a ton of factory parts for anyone interested.

Up for sale so far:

Rear grab bar
rear fender and tailight
handlebars
airbox
3 point engine guards
Factory mufflers with factory baffles intact

I am 100% certain there will be lots more as I continue stripping and replacing, but these are the parts that are in good shape and ready to sell. I will accept cash offers or trade. Hit me up here with offers. What I am looking for as far as trade:

Clubman bars or drag bars with risers
Bob-style fender that will fit between the frame rails
10" or 10.5" shocks

Aside from those items, cash is obviously good, although I will sell all parts cheap.

How much are you thinking for the engine guards? I need a set.

 

Either $30 for the pair, or straight trade for the clubman bars (or drag bars with risers)

 

I will stand in as second for the engine case guards if junkmn does not get them.

What is your price on the mufflers??
Complete with collector (these were welded on mufflers)??
Interested in a 4-1 header as a possible trade for the complete exhaust system?

Ugh! I just looked on USPS.com. The shipping for the package, even at 10 pounds (I haven't done an official weighing. I guessed at it. I will weigh them this evening), would be $65 for Parcel Post. :roll: Definitely not a rate I would want to pay.

 

Those you would have to make an offer for. I can't see anyone spending more than $20 for them, especially when I can get a brand new set of Clubman's for that much.

 

I think something is wrong with that quote. I just shipped a big VStar tank and it was half that at Fed Ex. Wouldn't they fit in the $10 Flat Rate box at the post office?

 

I have no idea why I didn't think of the flat rate boxes. Yeah they would definitely fit in one of those.
