I put drag bars on my 650 so I am trying to find a master cylinder that would sit level. Would the 89 xj600 master cylinder work?

First off, no such thing as an '89 XJ600 according to the fiche. Must be an eBay listing, or a non-USA part.

For your bike, if you're still using the original single disc, the best bet (and a direct bolt-up) would be the M/C from any year '81~'83 XJ550, Seca or Maxim. They are oriented much more level.

Thanks bro. I had no idea. Not only am I new to xj's but to bikes in general. So all the wisdom is much appreciated. What would be a good replacement speedo. I don't need the tach or anything
