Well well - aren't we impatient?

    Yuasa part #'s
    If it's a 650 it's: 12N-12A-4A
    If it's a 750 it's: SYB14L-A2

Geeez, that's what I was going to say, how rude.

First off, we don't even know if it's a 400 or 1100 ? You fail to supply decent info to your question, then your an impatient a$$ like that ? Grow up

Take a drive over to Sears.
Look-up your bike in the Battery Application's Book.
Buy the better of the two. Take the replacement plan for the extra 3-Bucks.
Fill it, Charge it according to the directions.
    Best deal going.

You can go to Bike Shop and spend more dough for an OEM one that they have filled and charged-up and have ready-to-go ... YUASA !

On the way back home with some charged-up battery you didn't fill; they ought to give you a free Magic Marker so you can change the A on the end -- to O.

Geez, glad that all ended amicably. Hey midnight, could you post your bike type in your signature for our benefit?

    Hey, Midnight ...

That's all you needed was a battery? What else can we smooth-out for you?

Our Spring XJ-Tune-a-thon will be starting-up in the coming days ... dive-in with a question or something we can figure-out for you ... I just want you to know there's NO problem ...

Nobody had a chance to answer you before your 2nd Post.
    Everythings cool.
I take care of the Midnight Max guys ... My bike was a MidMax 'til I de-blacked and de-golded the whole thing!

Hey, I completely understand his impatience! When I post something on this site, I want answers NOW!

Kidding of course. I'm glad this ended well too. It's extremely hard to tell how something is said online because you can't hear the whimsical inflection in their voice or the little audible chuckle while they are typing.

And, out of all of this I pulled some great information on a battery option from Sears! Didn't even have a clue that Sears would have a battery for my bike. In fact, that would have been one of the last places I would have thought to look!

By the way, I feel shamed into updating my signature to add my bike's specs now...

Neuance is lost in written prose, so it is imperative for the writer to find a way to reflect the spirit and mood of the post, good point XJ1100. I am pleased that everyone didn't jump down the poster's throat. Seems a lot of us have been in his/her shoes. A well handled response from you all collectively is a credit to our group. I am pleased to be associated with you, each and every one.

You'd be surprised what you can get from Sears.

A lot of us are DIYers. Try out the parts section of their web site. You can get parts for just about every appliance and power tool made in the last 25 years I think.

But, Sears does CRAZY, CRAZY things ... sometimes.

I got the Bulletproof Extended Warranty for my 2-Stroke Weed-whacker and Combo Leaf-blower - Yard Vac.

If it fails ... I bring it in ... they fix it ... no questions asked.

They have overhauled my Leaf-blower and put more parts and labor into it than what it would cost them to just give me a new one.

XJ-Related discussion: The Batteries they have for our bikes are GREAT!
