This chop did have a cbx power plant, but the PO decided to put the motor in a trike, and is getting off this, so i snatched it up

I've got a motor with the same horse, but with 2 less cylinders... a cbr600 F2...
    Maybe eventually a 1200 sporty, we'll see
plans are black or silver frame, metallic blue tins... different seat and a p pad, and making the motor fit, hopefully the trump and this will get done around the same time!
200 rear tire, just over 12 feet long..
I should have this and the triumph done by march or april...

Nice frame, can't wait to see how it goes. Did you sell the XJ with the Honda tank?

Well i've got the cbr carbs as clean and chopper as they can get... this rack had 7 vent lines that went to the airbox...
These carbs are also the california model, lots of emission junk hanging off them, so I used the jets, slides, and needles off a donor set I have as well
my motor is california as well, though I blocked the emissions stuff awhile ago...

My plans are to use this stock airbox "shroud" and make a steel dragon performance style box, probably using some louvered steel to make a cover... and some atv filter foam for the filter setup..

Carbs are nice and clean. Do you know the name of the frame manufacturer?

lol, dave... I'm friends with the po, I've met the guy who built the frame, the rear end axle plate setup is his trademark.

I get to be in a build off with the guy who built the frame as well... though not with this bike...

Truth be told, I suspect it kinda looks like a lot of us when we were younger... except I was riding a near-stock Triumph in those days.

I would wuv to have that knuck! Gallon and a half p-nut tank on a bike that gets 30 mpg... totally cool.

That bike just needs a bigger spoolie and a spoke rear
