    Hello all. I have been a lurker for quite some time and decided to finally take the plunge and join up. Back in 1988 when I was 21, I bought my first bike which was a 1980 650 Maxim and I put a ton of miles on it. Sold it for whatever reason and have owned many bikes since but have now been out of the saddle now for over 15 years. Wanting to get back into riding, I finally found a basket case 1983 Maxim 750 to restore/modify and enjoy. Will be fun to get this bike back on the road and maybe a few more down the road. Anyway, I am glad to be here and hope I can learn as well as contribute to this forum.
