You can buy a fuel valve from most hardware stores for
    lawn mowers, gen's etc.

Just run a fuel line to where you want to hide the petcock
being sure not to bind the line in rout to the carbs.

But where do I find an adapter that bolts to the tank so I can run a fuel line? The reason I want to do this mod is that I swapped my tank and the petcock hits the carb. I want an adapter with a hose fitting that will bolt to the tank then I can mount the petcock remotely.

How about swap the petcock with one that doesn't hit the carbs?

The XJ1100s have a "remote" vacuum valve, but have petcocks on either side of the tank, only the valve itself is "remote." You would probably need to fabricate something.

You use your current petcock set to "ON" or "PRI"

That is, if it doesn't leak.
temporarily, you could seal a leak with Yamabond.
