I dont see how the CB750 was the "first superbike". My impression was a superbike had a 1000cc motor, which the first being the KZ

I'm supprised no Yamahas made the list. You would think a list of top ten should have bikes most people could afford to buy.
    I did enjoy watching it.

Not sure about those "experts" either, but I would agree that the CB750-4 and the Triumph should be in the top ten.

And if we were talking about racing bikes, the Britten would have to be in the top three.

Not a single rider filmed from the '60's on back wore any eye protection.

Review the "HURT" report again - 75% of accidents, the rider had no eye protection.

My cousin too a rock to the eye when he was 15, riding dirt, and his pupil still is heart-shaped.

Yeah, I thought the whole thing was a bit "all over the place" as well. While the Britten was indeed a fascinating exercise, it had very little influence on the overall development or "direction" of motorcycle design. They said it was an "anomaly" themselves.

As for the Triumph; yes the Bonnie was "iconic" but the Thunderbird that preceeded it or the original Speed Twin were more influential.

I would replace the quirky, no two exactly alike Brough Superior with the much better engineered and executed Vincent Black Shadow.

The CB750 definitely belongs; but so does the Earles-fork BMW from the late '50s~early '60s, and the Yamaha YDS1. And while I agree that Ducati should be represented, one of the early desmos would have been a better choice like the 900SS of the mid-late '70s.

PLUS, there would be no better representative of the ubiquitous "UJM" of the early '80s than the Yamaha Maxim I. I think they completely missed their own point.

Whaddaya expect? The page was put together by CAR guys.

Not a Harley guy but I don't see how the vespa could be 7th and the Knucklehead 10th. I got a laugh from that.

Now, now, the Vespa and the Honda Cub should definitely be in the top ten scooters of all time.....
