83 seca 550 Part out

    I have an 83 seca 550 looking to part out. It started as a project for a friend but he bought another bike and it has been sitting without a title ever sense. He finally just said get rid of it but it has a lot of nice parts including a 6 pack rack and good exhaust. The engine ran but the carbs were leaking out of the float bowl

    Here is the only pic I have but I can get more. Tell me what you need and I will get it.

    It has no title. The person who I was going to do the work for wanted it for a started bike. He never got a title when he bought it and does not want to get one now. He got a new bike a few months after and told me I could have this one.

    No idea what things are worth I know for old hondas but not XJs so if I shoot you a price that is way out of line let me know. For instance a magna six pack rack like this is a 100-150 item it may not be here so let me know if I offend you

    Are you sure the 6 pack rack fits on the Seca? I'd be interested in seeing a picture of it on the bike.

    I'm willing to gamble $10- $15 on the stator brushes if you still have them - its the wiring harness under the left side stator cover held to the cover with 2 bolts. Also need plastic handlebar snap on cover, helmet lock bolt and bar. All are small parts that could be sent inexpensively. I'm assuming tank and badges are gone?

    OK I will get the stator brushes and other such out. I cannot remember if the badges are gone. The guy that bought the tank did not want them let me look to see if he took them anyway.

    After I get it all together I can get a shipping quote with tracking.

    In case you didn't end up with stator brushes or the handlebar cover, here's what I have:

    Steering nut cover in good condition plus the (4) plastic clamp bolt covers all together - $10
    Stator brushes - $15

    BTW - I have these and many other parts from a 1982 Seca xj550 I've been parting out.
