Took the Seca out for a long ride on West Tennessee back roads Christmas day and had so much fun I took it for a four hour ride again today! For a 30 year old bike it handled well and was a hoot to drive. A huge difference between it and my Valks.

Yeah, we've been getting some nice riding weather up here too but your back roads are nicer than what we have near my home.

I took out my 75 H2 for a quick ride to the station to top off the tank then took the turbo out for a nice ride Christmas evening. It was a nice way to close the day and I got to try out the new riding gloves that my oldest daughter got for me. She related her experience in getting them where she walked in to her local dealer and told them what she wanted. They asked her "what kind of riding does your dad do?" to which she replied...."on a motorcycle, with 2 wheels"....I laughed so hard. It's so obvious to us but not to her, I can completely understand. The salesman did her well though and I have a nice pair of JR insulated gloves.....as usual, they're a little tight but that just means I need to ride more, right?

I like your collection, rather eclectic but interesting. I think one day I'll make room for a 1st year XS1100. Yes I've worked on enough of them to know whats bad about them but it was a beast of a bike in it's day. I think it was about the only time that Yamaha showed that they had a set back then.

It's a lot of fun going up to a stop light with a crotch rocket riding the XS's then smoking the other driver because he didn't expect the bikes to run so well. Those bikes have some teeth even today....

Keeping warm hands is important! LOL about your daughters experiance and answer!!!
