That’s why I hate my country, who else would do something like that to an FJ1100 or any bike for that matter?

I agree with Max x Al, don't ever hate your own country. Especially the Queens England....too much cool history. I agree that politically, there are too many takers and not enough producers anymore which is what they wanted. Once you have people subsidized, they are under your thumb, even though they don't have any of their own skin in the game. We have a guy doing that here too. If you don't like something, put in the time and effort to get a group together and change it, but no matter you live or what your culture is, always love and respect it. It doesn't mean that we aren't ocassionally embarassed by someone or something our country does, but that's just a temporary blip.

    back to the bike...

Many, MANY years ago I was out riding my 350 Honda (first bike) and as I rode down Rt 2, a local limited access road, I was passed by 2 gents on a Gold Wing. That GW had every single inch of the bike covered in lights. There were racks of lights bolted to racks of lights. We came up together on a redlight and I smiled from under my 3/4 shell and asked the guys.....why? They both started laughing and said, "So no one has an excuse of I didn't see you!". The light changed and off they went. A year or so later, I saw the very same bike and the very same two guys, on the cover of one of the Cycle mags.

Maybe that FJ just wanted to be seen.....
