Hello , wondering if could get some help. New carb kit for 750 mid max didn't come with filter screen for float seat,,, pulled of old screen but doesn't fit. So my question is can I just put in an in-line fuel filter and be okay? (There isn't one currently there) Any help would be appreciated

check with XJ4Ever. Len may have "beanie screens" for the K&L kits, it's worth asking.

If you CAN run them, do.

Sounds good thanx for the replies. Boiled both racks of crabs in lemon juice, the 550 is screaming again !

You will want to add the inline filter anyways. Save yourself some hassle down the road. The "beanie screens" are not designed to catch the small particles that the inline filter will.
