I'm swapping a 69-73 Honda CB750 tank onto my maxim 550. The cb tank has 2 fuel lines coming out of the petcock and no vacuum line.
This is what it looks like:

My question; Can I just "T" the 2 fuel lines together to run it to the 1 fuel line on my maxim?
Also, would I just cap off the vacuum port at the intake boot? I noticed chacal carries a non vacuum replacement petcock, so there has to be a work around. Would that, in turn, mean I would need to manually turn the petcock to Off whenever I get off?
I've looked for a vacuum petcock replacement for the CB tank but I can't find one.

that sounds like the obvious approach.
and YES, you would have to turn of the valve when you parked it.

No need to T them, just cap one off.

@MiCarl: That's what I was wondering at first. Didn't know if it would create some weird suction though, or not feed enough gas.

They both go to the same internal passage. Honda ran a separate hose to each carburetor.

It might not feed enough gas just using one though. You'll have to compare to the stock nipple to get a feel for if you need to use both. Of course if you use that size line after your T you won't get more gas anyhow.
