Carb Hats - Switchable?

    I know you have to keep carb parts together in general, but can you swap hats around? I have two nice ones and two manky ones, and I'd like the nicer ones to be on the outside.

    I used engine enamel and self etching primer. I was worried about gas and oil getting on them and washing off cheap paint. Ideally id powder coat but i just wanted it done.

    They came from the factory with the dull ones on the inside, to save money on chrome plating I guess. There's your daily dose of XJ trivia for the day :D
