    Donor Bikes: http://photobucket.com/7bikes

I am parting out 7 bikes. These are for PARTS only. The parting process is almost complete. Here is the list of bikes.

    1) 1981 Yamaha Seca 750 (yellow) with 24,456 miles - http://stores.ebay.com/Let-It-Ride-Part ... 34.c0.m322
    2) 1986 Kawasaki Vulcan 750 (black) with 13,046 miles
    3) 1981 Yamaha Maxim 650 (black) with 24,237 miles - http://stores.ebay.com/Let-It-Ride-Part ... 34.c0.m322
    4) 1980 Yamaha Special 400 (red) with 14,816 miles
    5) 1982 Yamaha Maxim 400 (black) with 5381 miles
    6) 1982 Yamaha Maxim 750 (red) with 44,086 miles - http://stores.ebay.com/Let-It-Ride-Part ... 34.c0.m322
    7) 1981 Yamaha Maxim 650 (black) with 20,345 miles - http://stores.ebay.com/Let-It-Ride-Part ... 34.c0.m322

If the bikes above have a link next to them then they have been completely parted out and listed on ebay. You can use ebay to see the pictures of the actual item you will receive. Prices will be much cheaper then on ebay for you guys though.

I am only accepting text or phone calls @ two15.6two2.one8four4. I will accept messages through XJbikes.com. You can try emailing me, but I pretty much count most emails as spam. You can try putting "7 bikes" in the subject line, but if you ask me a question that is really vague like "is this still available" then I will mark it as spam. Sorry for the contact rules, but blame the spammers with no life or job.

Pick-up is welcome with CASH only
Shipping is welcome with PayPal only (all items will be safely and professionally packed) - 90% of my items I toss in FREE PRIORITY MAIL shipping.

Contact with offers, price request, and PICTURES.

    BUYER BEWARE:

Seems the email address associated with LETitRideParts is bogus. My message to lots2go@yahoo.com went UNDELIVERABLE. So naturally, I checked out the profile.

This seller just joined XJBikes As Feb 5 and lists nothing other than what seems to be a bogus email. When someone selling stuff has no history/reputation with xjbikes it should raise a red flag for buyers. Hopefully, this is not a scammer.

The (215) area code listed for phone # in the ad is in Pennsylvania. It may be legit, I hadn't tried it.

750MaximSeattle check your system settings. I show the original posting at 9:40pm on Feb 4.

The email listing in the profile is usually incorrect unless the member chooses to accept email. IN this case the OP made it pretty clear that email contact would be useless.

I have sent a PM to the OP. Obviously the OP is a cycle salvage seller trying to increase sales.

Ha ha...yikes guys. Yes I am new to this site and yes I am trying to increase sales on these bikes. I have 7 of the dam things in my garage! I sold to a few guys on craigslist and they both told me to post my things to you guys on this site. I am legit, new, but legit.

I will look into setting my email up to accept emails. This forum is a bit complicated at first. For now just do what Ghost did with an OP.

I have entered a link to the pictures of my bikes at the top of my post. I am going to work on more today with 4 sides of each bike.

Please note: The seat, rear signals, gauge, reflectors, carburetor, and boots are already gone from Maxim 650 in the front right of the second photo.

I do have the title for 6) 1982 Yamaha Maxim 750 (red) with 44,086 miles.

I would be willing to sell these as whole bikes like I said in the CL post, but I really got them as parts bikes to give me something to do in the winter time. If the price was good enough though I could part with it.

It is pretty sweet seeing them all together prince. I got them off a guy who really didn't have the time for them. Like I said, I need something to do in the winter time since I do seasonal work in the warm weather.

Just for clarification, I've spoken with LETitRIDE via text message over the phone before he signed up for the site. I mentioned the site to him as I thought you guys would be interested in the parts.

    Take care

So now that I am home for the day and at my computer, I thought I would give an in-depth review of LETitRIDEparts.

I found his post on craigslist before he became a member here and texted him about some parts I needed (from the '82 650 - spare carb rack, a tank emblem, side covers, reflectors, tail light and signals, instrument panel, carb boots). He was quick to respond with a good price and (since I am relatively local) he was happy to have me stop by for them. I picked up the parts and got a new seat in the deal. The bike everything came off of was in BEAUTIFUL shape (not even heat rust on the exhaust headers) and I really wish I had more money I could have spent with him.

He was very friendly and great to work with, and let me know to keep in touch if there is anything else I need. He told me he is willing to ship (something I may take him up on next time), and seems like he's always going to have a good deal of parts. I'd definitely recommend him to anyone else looking for some replacement parts second hand.

Sorry calibers busted. New ones coming Saturday. Got a 5mm reading on one, but 4.5 on other (think that's wrong). I'll do $40 shipped for you on them, but you'll have to wait a few days.

Side note: USPS up their rates. Not by much, but it's no longer that.

FWIW, The two 1981 maxim 650's pictured both have YICS motors, which would suggest that they are 1982 or newer. If I'm wrong, someone please enlighten me. I sent a pm inquiry on another part.

Sorry missed this kerst. We talked on phone already and I will look today.

Will double check myself jd. Maybe I was looking at the manufactured date. Will update if it changes.

These bikes will be going into my shop starting tomorrow (1 at a time). They will be completely parted and then listed on ebay. I will update here once listed on ebay so you guys can see individual photos. Let me know what you are looking for if you want to beat the crowd. I have titles for #4 and #6.

Boss: I have a guy that texted me before that is interested in a handful of parts from that seca too. He is driving up Saturday and I am giving him first dibs to keep my word since he contacted me first. By then the whole bike will be parted and will lock you up on second dibs if he does not need anything your asking for.

Omega: Will text you back shortly. Sorry bud, things got chaotic with this post on here and running around like a chicken with my head cut off from text/calls. Will text you tomorrow.

I just met this guy and he is legit, he has all the parts you may need! If you are looking for a solid set of stock pipes for a 650 or 750 he has probably one of the best sets on the planet, perfect chrome and solid. The seca tank is in great condition as well so if your looking for one you may want to snag it off him before it goes.I highly recommend this guy, he was easy to deal with and very knowledgeable. if I need anymore parts I will definitely contact you thanks again!

Thanks dave I appreciate that. These pipes are sweet. Good luck with the building. You got a sweet project going there.

Since I'm here, I am currently listing my 1982 Seca parts on ebay. I was going to make a seperate thread on here, but I want xj guys to get the earliest jump. Here is the link below so you guys can see the pics. about 27 parts going up in the next few hours and the rest on the first of the month.

    http://stores.ebay.com/Let-It-Ride-Part ... 34.c0.m322

Prices are for ebay. I will give 15% discount if shipped and 20% discount if picked up to xj guys right off the bat. That eliminates fees for you guys that I need to account for on ebay so you guys have the upper hand on the items if you like them.

Alright guys. I updated the first post of this thread with links. I don't want to clog up the forums with individual threads of each bike.

I have completed and fully listed the 750 (#6).

    I am almost finished with 1981 xs400 (#4)

The engine off of the xs400 is good. I took a compression test and #1 was 160psi - 165psi and #2 was 155 psi. Here is the link of the youtube video of the compression test (visual evidence ;) :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwQOcF7j ... 2BxLsCo%3D

Contact me if you are interested in the engine or any other parts.
