Anybody on here ever use Haps Stainless steel brake line guide to order from Rennsports? It is posted on the xjcd site. It is for xj 700x/750x. Thinking about it but wanted feed back first.

Sorry I wasnt real clear on my question, I found the guide but really just wanted to make sure it was accurate, and would fit. I am assuming you indeed have ordered these? Did everything fit up right and did they come with all the necessary pieces and parts?

    Oh, ok.
I've yet to install the lines, but by holding them up to where they are supposed to go, they look like a perfect match and they came with all new chrome banjo bolts and copper crush washers. I haven't got to that point on the rebuild yet, but when I do I'll take some pictures and post them. The parts arrived quickly and were very well packed in a heavy cardboard box and the parts were wrapped in sealed plastic bags if thats any help.

You don't need to get them from Canada unless you really want to; XJ4Ever does stainless lines, in various colors, including custom lengths for very reasonable prices. I've got them on both of my 550s, with custom-length upper lines.

He also carries OEM as well as aftermarket pads, EBC rotors, etc.

If you're not familiar with XJ4Ever, you need to be unless you want to spend way too much money doing this. Click on the logo/link in the site banner at upper right, PM member chacal or send an email to 'info "at" XJ4Ever "dot" com' and let him know what you want to do.

You're going to want to rebuild your caliper and master cylinder while you're at it. If you don't the bike will make you as soon as you start riding it. Honest.

Rennsportauto can be found on ebay, and is quite a bit cheaper than xj. I have been very happy with my brake lines from them and fit was spot on. Having said that, Chacal is a great guy and has top notch parts, I have ordered many items from him as well and have been very happy. In the end it was $$$.
