Try shopping at the Landfill Mall..........lots of people have gotten so frustrated with their pods that they have taken them there..........................

K&N.com. I know they are pricy but I was so fed up with my cheapie pods that I made the switch. I say start out right the first time.

E Bay the best, however if there was directions to the landfill mall, I would definately go there and get as many as I could.

Be sure to do your homework on the pod filters. There are some problems they will create with fuel mixture.

IMO pods are only for people who do not have issues tuning carbs, mine work fine, just take the proper steps

    1) Valve Clearances
    2) Decide on setup, pipes and pods
    3) Get the appropriate jet kit ( I went with a K&N stage 1&3 for a 4-1 pipe no muffler with pods)
    4) Carb clean and rebuild (get very detailed with this)
    5) Install new gaskets with appropriate jet kit
    6) Buy/Make a vacuum sync for 4 cylinders ( I bought mine from motion pro worth ever cent)
    7) Buy/Make a YICS block off tool (got mine off flea bay)
    8) Install YICS tool and carbs all shiny and full of brand new hardware
    9) Buy a case of beer and invite over your most mechanically inclined buddy for some test tune seshions and beers (beer usually gets em over)
    10) get your carbs synced up
    11) sleep off hangover
    12) rip it!

all info on each step can be searched on these forums, there are tons of post about each step basiclly. If you do not have experience with carbs make sure your buddy does. This is not for the faint of heart but can be done if you have mediocre skills (meaning you dont have to tune top fuel dragsters for 20 years to do this its a friggen motorcycle)
