Does anyone have a pair of decent used shocks for sale?

Heck, I only really need one right now.

Bike is an '82 550 maxim.

    Thanks

PS- I don't like to deal on flea-bay.

As a safety note - never replace just one - always replace shocks, springs, and anything suspension related as a pair.

All the XJ's used the same standard shocks - 12.5" eye-to-eye. So you can use shocks from any XJ -- and any bike with the same length for that matter, if you don't mind swapping out the bushings to fit. (HD shocks are a popular choice - can get them as take-off's pretty cheap)

Is that 12.5" eye to eye with the shock closed, fully open or at rest?
