Yeah she is a bit of an animal mate after getting off the yammy . i love the v twin power but i also love my trusty 17 year old divvy 900 ,me and my missus have been all over europe on her and we did scotland a couple of time .. i know this forum is for the original xj's but the diversion is/was a good compliment to the brilliant gen 1's ..

i love em mate . the front last forever but is good on the road grip wise the back is still hanging on my garage wall as my 020 isnt finished yet. i know people who have the sports versions fitted to their aprilias that do track days on em without problems ..

on that pic at dover the tyre had been fitted a week prior and i rode down from lancaster into france and belgium then back again and the front still had the faint yellow line on the tread (the bit that contacts the road not inside the tread ) 8O .. so tyre life isnt an issue ,i dont go mad in the wet and in the dry i lean enough to use all the rear to the edge so grip is good also..

    good money to http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-XJ900- ... 925wt_1185
