Proud Dad!!! *EDIT* Video clip added

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, if it's not then feel free to move it to another part of the forum.

I'm so proud of what my daughter has done I just wanted to share it with everyone I know.
Shannon has been involved with the theatre since high school and continued doing it all through University.
She has done most things from acting to stage manager for other productions, did a co-op at the Stratford festival for 5 weeks last summer and worked as a seamstress at the Grand Theatre here in London for one summer.
The theatre is her life and her love and now she has gone all out and created her own theatre company so that she could put on her first play. She arranged all the auditions and is producing and directing this play herself.
Shannon is also going back to University this year to take a Arts Management course to fully understand the business side of theatre.

Sounds like you're a Happy-Pappy!
It's great to have someones dream come true.
There's NO Business like SHOW Business.
And, in Show Business, ... there's nothing requiring more hard work and devotion than Theater.
Theater is the most respected form of Show Business. Each week, the "Numbers" are tabulated for Box Office Ticket Sales and posted in the Industry's Bible: Variety.
Television, Motion Pictures and Theater's Ratings and Ticket Sales and News appear in special sections of the Issue.
The Paper names the Medium with the jargon uses by critics.
Television is simply: TV
Motion Pictures: Film
Atop the column for information on Theater is this title: Legit!

Treat her to the one thing that will let her feel like a real Pro, ... every time she's at a rehearsal or supervising all the many details of bringing a production to the stage.

Wow, that's fantastic! I think that every man wants a son initially, but when my oldest was born and I held that little red haired girl for the very first time, I gladly took my place around her little finger even though she was too young to know it. Now, 26 years, one fine son and one additional red haired daughter later, I've enjoyed being a Dad more than anything else in my life....sound like you do too....Congratulations!!!

Thats great, good for her. If she is planning on touring a little, I could probably get her a gig or two up here in my neck of the woods.

+1 on what Jeff said (except for me it six girls and a boy somewhere near the middle)... Sounds like she is putting forth a lot of hard work, tell her congratulations for us.

That is a great accomplishment. Theater takes alot of guts and a special caliber of person to do what she has done. Awesome.
