Re: Anyone want luggage & fairing off an '83 xj750 Maxim?

What parts would you need in particular? Of course, I'd rather sell the luggage complete but would part them out if others here could use most of what you don't need.

BTW - the cases are color matched, I'd call it plumb. The fairing is not the same as the one you referenced. If I get more responses here on XJBikes I'll certainly check out the parts 1st hand.

The pieces that I would need are the right saddle bag, and guard.

Re: Anyone want luggage & fairing off an '83 xj750 Maxim?

Turns out, as of last night, they sold everything except the trunk, trunk mount and the fairing. The fairing has no mounts nor headlight. I bought all these parts that were leftover.

Parting out the fairing, going to pull all the small parts (blinkers/compartments/emblem/windshield/metal trim/edge cover/vent) and get rid of the carcass. The paint is faded, minor road rash on one side and some cracks in the dash above the compartments. For reference, fairing part # is 24M-28300-50 according to placard.

Trunk looks good except it has some cracks at the corners of the lid. Good reflector. Missing lock tumbler. Base is in nice shape. Plumb color, although faded to grey on top side.

The chrome mounting bracket for the trunk and the aluminum grab handles are in very nice condition. Missing lock tumbler. No corrosion/rust/road rash.

PM with your email and I'll send pics.
