My brake light is only being activated when I use the front brake lever and NOT the rear....how do I fix this?

    A few simple comments:

Make sure the rear brake pedal assembly is still connected to the rear brake light switch. (ie the small fragile spring may be gone/broken. (Mine was loose but still there)

Make sure the rear switch is still on the bike. Assuming similar for all models, right side of bike behind brake pedal but in front of the rear tire.

Should be able to buy replacement kit (switch and spring) from Chacal if necessary.

If all are present, switch could be broken or switch lever assembly needs to be adjusted to actually push the switch button.

Beyond that you could check the functionality of the switch with a continuity tester and/or voltmeter.

Your rear brake light switch (assuming it's there and functioning) is adjustable. It may simply need to be adjusted.

x2, it may need a simple shot of lubricant or the adjustment 'nut' may need to be 'adjusted'. Make sure the spring is attached to it as well.

I did have one that died on me and I ended up takingit apart to find it wasn't making contact, thus not working.

Simple test would be to turn the key on and pull on the wire on the switch.

If it moves and the light lights - adjust.

If it moves and doesn't light - switch (or wiring from switch to light, this is when you break out the circuit tester.)

If it doesn't move then you will most likely want to buy a new switch.
