fuel/ vac line configuration

    could someone tell me what lines go where? i have 3 lines and only 2 spots on the petcock because the PO had a non yamaha tank with 2 vac lines on it

    so do i just cap off one off the vac lines? i couldnt find anything in my manual

    The stock Yamaha configuration for your bike is one fuel line, from the petcock to the carbs (the big fitting;) and one vacuum line, from the vacuum spigot on the #3 intake manifold to the small port on the petcock.

    The other three vacuum ports on the intake manifolds remain capped except for when you vacuum sync the carbs.

    okay thanks alot thats how i have it now. i just need to cap the #1 intake then, how would i got about dooing that if i dont have those litttle oem caps?

    you get some little OEM caps w/clamps from XJ4Ever; or you go to the nearest auto parts store with an existing cap in hand and match it. And use a tight zip-tie as a temporary clamp until you get some real ones.
