See previous post regarding turbo compressor side impeller. So I examining the left side exhaust contemplating removing it to inspect my turbocharger, so I decide the front foot peg is going to be in the way and start unscrewing the bolt thing that it is screwed into a threaded eye. NOT! I turn and turn and turn on this sucker until finally it break loose and a nut falls from under the bike. I go to the other side to see where it fell from to discover that only someone with fingers the length of ET's is going to be able to get that nut back on. Well after an incredible amount of time using flexible magnets, screw drivers and various other implements we finally get the left foot peg back on and tight. So like I said, NEVER, EVER, have a remote, fleeting, inkling of a thought that removing one of the front foot pegs is a good idea. Just back away slowly and do something else like hit your hand with a hammer or something. The pain will be far less than trying to get the foot peg back on the bike.
