    I have seen guys take apart one of those USB car adapters (carefully) and hook the 12v side of it up to a fuse and then the battery (out of the way) and run wires to where they want the USB plugs. So when they are done, the only thing you can see is a couple of working USB plugs peeking out of a plastic fairing or something.

    Seen guys do the same thing with a garage door opener, Find one - take it apart, and mount the main parts on the bike where they are out of the way, run wires to the button/switch mounted to their bars or something, so they can hit the button at will.

    I have a C-tek charger socket connected to the battery, and made a lead to adapt the usb 5v socket to it. Works well.
