I've got a guy who's interested in trading me his Virago 750 for some work. I've heard some bad things about the Viragos but I've never owned or even ridden one. This one has no title so it's probably something I'd part out. Just curious to hear any pros or cons about these bikes.

    Thanks.

The local DMV can do a title search off the VIN if you are patient enough. They try to contact previous owners and such - but if it is not claimed, they will issue you a title. I did this once - took a few months, but eventually the DMV issued a new title in my name.

Might want to do a VIN check anyway to make sure the bike is not reported stolen.

My son rides a 1985 Virago XV1000 and loves it. In my opinion, they are much like any other bike. Treat them well and you'll be riding for a while.
