These kind of idiots just blow me away...

So this guy has never had the bike running, doesn't offer compression results....how the #$%# does he know it will run or how fast it is?? This guy must think everyone is a moron (like him) and will pay good money for something HE couldn't get running. Apparent;y his first 'buyer' wised up in time. But here's the line that cracks me up...
"IF THIS DOES NOT SELL BY THE END OF THE WEEKEND SUNDAY 9PM IM ADDING IT TO MY SCRAP PILE" ... right... because that will increase your scrap pile worth by...oh..about $50, so I won't offer you the 2 bills your bike is REALLY worth b/c you don't want any 'low-ball' offers. You can't sell you junk so you're going to threaten sellers that you'll scrap it?!!?
8O OMG.. PLEASE DON'T SCRAP THAT HELPLESS CYCLE....I'll SAVE IT!!! I'm willing to pay your ridiculous ransom......um.. NOT!
Why is it everyone around here prices their chit like it's gold plated..
Lemme know how that threatening buyers works for ya moron...
I soooo want to call this guy and tell him a what an idiot he is... lolol

Everyone should call him on Sunday night (tonight) at 8:55 pm (EST or Central?) and offer him ridiculous amounts of money and beg not to scrap it.

    Flash mob by phone.

If it had a good compression test AND he could get it to start up, it still wouldn't be worth the 6 he wants for it.

What a dumba$$. That would be like me saying "I've got some 2x4 lumber. About 200 of 'em. Why don't you give me about $150,000 for them, because I know what the house could look like when you are done building it.

Just go to the scrapyard around Dorr on Moday or Tuesday and ask them if they'll let you go pick parts off it.

Hey tskaz, you forgot to mention that if no one buys the 2x4's you're just gonna throw them on the pile and burn 'em cuz you could use some of the heat for cooking hotdogs.

    LOL

That last one is Johno8's bike from the forum here.... I would not put him or his bike in the same class as Mr.-it's-just-a-wire in the above CL ad. Actually looking at the extensive work, re-chroming, paint and overall attention to detail that Johno8 has into his bike, that price isn't that far out for someone looking to have a one-of-a-kind custom bike....not when you have to more than double that for a new stock bike, or compare that price to 15-30+k for 'custom builds' that are a dime a dozen now days...well ok more like 1,800,000 dimes for a dozen :D

Judging by his mastery of the English language I would put his IQ in the 7 range.

I agree with Mad_Bo on this one....

The amount of work described and the fact that the AME front end is probably worth close to 1500 on it's own... this bike is in a different class.

    And it is negotiable ;)

Gee, and how many miles? What is the compression? What is his standard for "detailed engine" considering how dirty it looks in the pics. Home paint job with industrial paint ... and, what's with the bottom of that rear wheel? Did your dog just pee on it or what?

Ha. His price isn't ridiculous, but his description of the bike is. I love that quote of worth over $20,000 in working parts. Each screw is worth $5 and the washer is an additional $5 based on his estimate lol. My prices are WAY off if I should be making 20k on each bike lol.
