Hello everyone. I am having a little bit of an issue. Sometimes when I try starting my bike it Seems to start but then it seems like the starter is stil
    Engaged and completely
Bogs the bike down. Do I need a new starter?

Pull the switch wire, eliminate that (button maybe sticking), start to motor by crossing the solenoid terminals, if it stays running, pull the starter, open it up & blast it with contact cleaner.

Could be the solenoid too; the original one was mechanical, not solid-state.

I just recently had to change out my starter.
Here is how you can test it.....
Pull the starter out (which is no big deal).
Once you have it out, with the power wire still connected, take a set of jumper cables and run one side (like the black side) of the cables from the starter housing to the starter mounting bracket on the bike. This will give you the ground you need. Then just turn the key, put it on run and hit the starter button. If it spins like crazy while the button is pushed and stops when you let go of the button then chances are that it is good. If it slowly drags or if it doesn't want to disengage then you will want to change out the starter. With a volt meter you can check the power to the solenoid and then to the starter to make sure that it is getting full power also.
