Need to lower 86 Maxim X

    Hello to all.

    Need to find out what 10.5 shocks will fit on an 86 Maxim-X. I'm not interested in bobbing it....it's just that I'm 5'1" and can't comfortably reach the ground. Shocks are in the lowest position, using riding boots with 2" heels and seat adjustment isn't going to help.

    find some Honda rebel shocks i think there 10.5

    Hmmmm over 2" shorter shocks. Have you checked out how far that would bring the swing arm up? At the angle those shocks are at it may be too much...just saying....I dont know for sure.

    I wouldn't use shocks from a 250 on a 700. Suzuki Savage 650 or Sportster shocks would be better.
