Help! Need Tank!

    I am looking for a Tank to replace my old one that I have repaired three times and has now sprung a forth leak! I am looking for a xj 650 tank in decent condition on the inside. I know about the liner kits and plan on doing this and repainting it I just want one that does have any holes!

    There are a few up on ebay right now. A 650 tank shouldn't be too hard to find.

    or

    You could go with a 750 tank for the larger capacity also.

    Is there any modification if you switch out the 650 tank for the 750 tank? I heard one there was somthing you had to do but maybe I am wrong.

    Up to 83 XJ750 MAXIM tank will drop right onto the XJ650 MAXIM regardless of year, and regardless of whether it has the fuel level sensor or not.

    The XJ750 tanks fit right on and are an excellent way to go as they hold more gas than the stock 650 tank giving you a better range with the bike.
